Rockband 2 soon to come out for the Wii

The word is that the game will ship before Christmas, rather than January. There’s enough hype surrounding each Rock Band launch on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 that it’s easy to forget that their are versions for the Wii and PlayStation 2 versions as well. But Wii and PS2 owners haven’t been forgotten, and it looks like they might be getting a surprise this month

Music-based games inspire many childeren to pickup the real instruments.

Children are becoming inspired to learn real musical instruments after playing music-based games such as Wii Music, Guitar Hero, and Rock Band, claims a new study. wii-music-goodies-8

The new report by the UK’s largest music charity Youth Music states that these games are having a dramatic effect on children taking up a instrument for the first time.
The research found that 19 per cent of young people said they now play an instrument because they were inspired to do so after playing a music-based console game.
Of the 12 million young people in the UK, aged between three and 18, more than half play music games on video game consoles.

Wii Tracker- Bundles aren’t that bad, but if you’re looking for just the Wii system Walmart has you covered

I’m glad to see that Nintendo has kept there promise…so far. They had promised that we won’t see Wii shortages this holiday. Walmart and many other retailer still have a stockpile standalone of Wii consoles. Wii bundles are all great, but sometimes you just want the core system and save a little mula.
